A second collection of Betty's hits, digitally remastered from the original recordings.

"My family and friends often speak of my optimism, my dreams for the future, and my eagerness to get there.

In 1993 I decided to sing again. Majoring in Drama at Dartmouth College had landed me on Broadway with a leading role in Take Me Along. The show and company were great, but my role didn't call for me to sing. Realizing how much I missed singing, I went back to the recording studio and the concert stage. Now, I was home again.

Several of my earlier CD's featured the great American popular standards, but when I made public appearances my audience also wanted to hear my hits of the 1950's. So, Betty's Hits Volume 1 was released. The results were so favorable that we now have Betty's Hits Volume 2. I recorded these songs in Chicago with Art Van Dam and in New York with wonderful studio musicians. All of the selections were sung on the Jack Paar TV show, where I had a blissful four-year stint.
